ABOUT ME

I think I am a fun person. I work hard and I play hard. As any other Indian, I love Cricket. I still play Cricket whenever possible and enjoy it. I consider myself very fortunate as I think I have every thing one needs in life - a loving wife, an adorable daughter and a caring son-in-law. Though I have all the material things, my happiness lies with my family and friends. I have found a mentor who is beyond description.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal Philosophy is Personal. You practice it and you get the fruits. The world need not know about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have become a member recently and have offered to host people. I just (April 14 to April 18, 2008) hosted 2 American young people. My experience with them was was very nice. I will be hosting 3 more Americans this week (April 24, 2008 onwards). I hope I was and will be found a good host.

Interests

Reading, swimming, trekking, Cricket, my family and my job. I love to make friends and I have many all over the world. I count myself lucky to have such a large extended family.

I am not much of a movie buff. But I like Indian Classical Music. My favourite Western Music Group is ABBA. I love to hear their songs any time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do not think I have done any thing amazing. But I have seen a live free tiger in a forest. I have also seen panthers when I go trekking with friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

This is some thing next to my heart. I love to teach. The subjects can be Sciences like Physiscs, Chemistry or Maths or it can be Philosophy. I got the training of being happy and I pass it on whenever I can. How I do it is difficult to explain. But I strongly believe that you are a student till you die. The day you stop being a student, you are dead mentally.
