ABOUT ME

I moved to Cardiff, UK in the Autumn of 2014 to open a new office and warehouse for the company I have worked for over the past 10 years. We sell gymnastics, cheerleading, dance and martial arts equipment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had the privilege to host people from all over the world since moving to Cardiff. I have recently surfed a former surfers couch too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent some time surfing during my Easter Break for my 2010 EuroTrip. I stayed with some great hosts in Vienna, Padova & Rome.

I also surfed Cleveland for 4th of July 2013.

Interessi

I enjoy spending time with friends and watching movies. I love spending time with my family too. I love sports and enjoy watching them on TV or in person. I've fallen in love with Rugby since moving to the UK so am ready and eager to watch it anytime! COME ON WALES!! :)

Musica, film e libri

I like listening to all kinds of music and reading books. I listen to the Top 40 Spotify Playlists normally. But as the workday can drag on it's fun to find random playlists or Top 40's from other countries. One of my favourite books is Into Thin Air.

Movies are my thing. I own so many it is incredible. One of the best parts about Cardiff is the cinema called Cineworld. They have an unlimited card where you pay a monthly fee and can see as many movies as you want!! Heaven on Earth! Name it and I have most likely seen it. If you asked me what my favourite movie of all time is I'd say The Italian Job, with Mark Wahlberg...but Ocean's 11 (remake) is always a solid watch.

I spent two weeks in China in 2007, climbed part of The Great Wall & saw the 2008 Olympic Buildings!

I climbed to the top of Leaning Tower of Pisa and am still AMAZED that I was able to do it.

Wowza...what could I teach? Not really sure, but I would be willing to share with you anything I know.

I would like to learn more about other people and their cultures. When I travel I hope someone will show me the tourist hot spots but more importantly the local secret treasures. I have lived in the US all my life and have loved it. I know that I have been afforded many opportunities that other people have not. I want to be able to give back to others any way I can.

I have been able to travel to China, Jamaica, Canada, and a handful of European countries as well as places across the US. I would be happy to share my experiences and adventures to anyone who is interested.
