Overview
About Me
My name is Krishna Bishwakarma, and I am an artisan of Jewelry and handicraft. I am also involved in social work, for 11 years I have been in Kathmandu (The Capital City of Nepal) as the President of a social organization called Relationship Nepal (The Home) which is located in Patan. Currently, we have 10 children between the ages of 13-16 and they are here for many reasons. The children we have here are orphans, helpless, poor and/or abandoned.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I had mentioned above, we run an organization called "Relationship Nepal". We have 10 children who are from different societies and different parts of the country and our organization provides them with all of their basic needs like food, shelter, education, health care, nourishment etc.
We love to share our home and our culture with people from around the world, and with this home comes the financial burden of caring for all these people. With this, we ask that guests who would like to stay and volunteer beyond a couple days contribute to the cost of our organization. If this still sounds like the place for you, then please contact me and we can talk more about it!
Our country is a great destination for tourists, and every year we get visitors from all over the world. If you are interested in volunteering to help the children, or if you would just like to come and stay and share our cultures together, we would love to welcome you into our home.
All of our children are very respectful, and greatly appreciate the caring and kindness they receive from our visitors. We are in need of assistance from people like you to help provide these children with a better future.
