ABOUT ME

I could try to define myself but I would probably end up confused! :P I like trying new things and meeting new people. I've lived in many different places but still feel like there is so much more that I want to see and do! I'm quite chatty and upbeat, slightly sarcastic but enjoy having a laugh, and the odd bit of madness. Give me a chance despite my odd screw up and I won't disappoint.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm terrified of missing out on things, so I just try to live as full and spontaneous a life as I can. Mostly I'll adhere to the philosophy of 'try everything once' and actively seek 'everything' out. But also I like making an impact on people's lives and have them do likewise for me, so I try to take the time to make meaningful connections with everyone I meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm very new to the CS Project so my participation would be mainly getting in touch with new people and perhaps meeting some of them on my future travels. I would like to get more involved in the future but I live in a shared house right now and have yet to get my house mates used to the idea of CSing before they'd be up for letting someone into our home - all in good time though! :)

I enjoy cooking, listening to random music, reading, watching films that make no sense, being in sunshine, swimming, hanging out with friends, being in nature, thinking, sleeping and generally enjoy having the chance to experience the beauty of the world that often goes unnoticed.
I used to be quite lazy but have recently gotten hooked on surfing and am getting quite into jiu jitsu. Also, I have a passion for photography and cooking.

See, now this is a hard section to fill in...

Some of my favourite films are Romeo + Juliet, The Devil's Advocate, Shakespeare in Love, Hackers, Donnie Darko, Pink Floyd - The Wall, LOTR, Almost Famous, The Fifth Element, Fear and Loathing, Amelie, The Virgin Suicides, Harry Potter, Children of Men, Pan's Labyrinth, V for Vendetta, Leon, Sin City, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...

My taste in music is vary eclectic, including rock, acoustic, drum & bass, reggae, electro, indie, alternative, techno, jazz... you get the idea. If is not pop, odds are that I'll like it. So recommend me your faves!! :D

While I like to read I don't have many favourite books, but these are some that come to mind; His Dark Materials trilogy, Lolita, Girl with a Pearl Earing, Fear & Loathing and Postsecret. In addition I adore the works of Shakespeare and quite like reading random plays too.

I've done many amazing things in my life but I can't yet say what the one (most) amazing one is... so I'm gonna have to cheat and get back to this question sometime :P

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I can teach some Bulgarian, share recipes, share my experiences along my travels as well as how I've found life in the different countries which I lived. I can teach silly crafts, perhaps give some tips on photography, I can inform of different philosophical ideas past and present, as well as about the different cultures I've been part of. I would like to learn everything and anything. Be it about cultures, crafts, art, music, food, cars, people, ideas... knowledge is power! lol.
