ABOUT ME

PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR A COUCH......LOL

Well we are an early and mid thirties couple with a little bundle of joy Alegra (better known as The Bear) our 1yr old daughter. We've been together for 7 very happy years. We love outdoors and try each week to do something like scuba diving, 4WDing, Surfing or Camping although ever since The Bear came along we've had to cut back to once a month...that's the outdoorsy stuff we are also staunch naturists/nudists (Yes we know we keep harping about this but if you don't take the time to read our profile you don't get to act surprised later...lol).

On the other side of things we love to do a little thing we call international food week. Basically we pick a culture and a restaurant from that culture and then we go in and try something new by asking the chef to cook us something that isn't on the menu....wow we have had some strange but great times and that doesn't even include the food.

That said we also like during the week (school nights) to just bludge on the couch and watch Modern Family or Futurama or friends or our personal fav "How I Met Your Mother and Mythbusters". Both of us have pretty good senses of humour and yes we are a bit on the dirty side with our jokes but hey screw it if you get offended easily then you take yourself to seriously.

We love a bit of a drink and would probably consider ourselves part irish at times....lol although once again we've settled down a bit. Love a barbie on the verandah and a vodka and lemonade and he is a great cook so we are sure to have a crowd when the food is on. Both of us very active otherwise and workout at our own home gym daily (its in our lounge so we can't avoid it)...so we are often to sore to move...lol. Other than that if you want to know just ask us.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take yourself to seriously cause you might miss out on all the cool stuff in life. Also try to help other humans cause we are all on this plant together and Karma comes around (my name is earl has taught us that)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well we guess we participate by encouraging interesting people to come crash at our place for a bit. We both reckon that the world would be a much cooler place if we all just treated each other like one great big family, especially if we were all nudist/naturists because when your a nudie then everyones equal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Heaps and heaps. We have hosted over 50 people in the last few years and had some amazing times and made some truly amazing friends that we still talk to pretty much every week.

Of course we have also had a few bad ones so if you are the type of person who uses couch surfing as a substitute for paying for a hotel DON'T bother contacting us.

Anyone who sends us a message saying Hi Guys or Hi Kristy.... will get an immediate sorry we can't host you. If you don't take the time to read our profile and realise we are a family it show's that your just a hotel seeker and we aren't big fans of those types.

Interests

Water Water and more Water. We are both part of the nudist/naturist lifestyle (YES WE RUN AROUND NAKED ALL THE TIME) so if this isn't your thing please don't apply to us.

We are also now firm believers in the Permaculture/Organic lifestyle and have brought a small property that we now live and grow our own food on. We love nothing more than spending a weekend in our garden tending our plants and livestock.

We also love Scuba Diving, Surfing, Sailing (yes we have a yacht but unfortunately since we moved away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney we don't get to go sailing very much anymore), 4WDing (ask if you aren't sure what it is), Sunbaking, Gym, Reading books, Watching TV, Bushwalking, Camping (we do that heaps and have a big tent so welcome one and all), Cooking, Eating (yes we get hungry..lol), Drinking contests (including a bit of truth or dare when we are drunk enough), Photography (because we run our own ehemmm adult website)...lol but don't worry we make it a practice never to involve our surfers in that aspect of our life other than saying "byeee we have a photoshot to go to" and obviously The Bear goes to stay with her Granparents when we are working =)

Both of us - Conceived and gave birth to the worlds loveliest, happiest, funniest little thing you've ever met. And to this day nothing makes us laugh more than watching her love affair with Vegemite and Cheese.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well one of us can teach you how to sell glasses and the other insurance for jetski's. Both of us can teach you about photography/videography...lol and we are learning all about everything related to nature and permaculture so if we can teach you great if you can teach us even better.But seriously, the guy Kai can teach you to surf, sail, swim and scuba dive. The girl Kristy can teach you to knit, 4WD (yep she is a blokey chick) oh and she can also teach you what it takes to be an aussie wife....lmao. We would both love to learn anything there is to learn out there anything from being a chess grand master to learning another language. Teach us we are open...(not that open people...keep it clean..lol)
