I am American but seem to have been born in the wrong country because I love love love Latin America, from the culture and language to the food and people. I took my big, solo South America trip in 2011 and it changed my life. Now I've been home for a few years had my daughter, decided to pursue teaching English as a career and haven't gotten to travel much in the last few years (however I went to Cuba and Mexico briefly).

I am outgoing, extroverted, almost always high energy. I love being active, hiking, yoga and especially DANCING. My all time favorite escape is dancing, salsa, merengue, bachata, etc. I'm a big planner and like to plan everything out with lists, which is why I love Latin America because it forces me to RELAX and go with the flow.

Currently I'm planning a New Years trip to Colombia (my all-time favorite country) and even though I've been once I don't know it well enough, and I'm dying to go to CALI. So I'd like to find a host and hopefully just meet some great people to celebrate the New Year with!

Teaching is a passion of mine, I love helping people whether it be teaching English, teaching refugees about American culture or just doing kids dance classes. I love being active, traveling, watching documentaries about politics/human rights, reading and podcasts.

I am very friendly love to meet new people and enjoy good conversation about life, love and the world.
