Overview
About Me
I'm an adventurous Latvian high school student who is eager to learn about other cultures all around the world and share mine. I enjoy studying foreign languages, especially Scandinavian languages; I like also cycling and walking around the city all day long. I might be a bit shy at first, but I open up when I feel more comfortable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that Couchsurfing is the best way to connect with local people. It's a great opportunity to get closer to local cultures and also share your homeland's culture and traditions.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: MGMT, The Kooks, Arcade Fire, Pink Floyd, Panic! At The Disco, Devendra Banhart, The Doors and lots of Latvian bands.
Movies: The Book Thief, Pride, The Imitation Game, The Danish Girl - basically everything related to history.
Books: I don't have specific favorite books, but I sure love reading works by Oscar Wilde, Arthur Conan Doyle, Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs and Jack Kerouac.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been working voluntarily in different kinds of events in Riga since I was fourteen, and so far the events I enjoyed the most are Riga International Film Festival (RIGA IFF), European Choir Games, World Choir Games and Latvian Song and Dance Festival.
I also repaired a 70 years old bike that my granddad had brought home from Siberia.
