About Me

I'm a uni student, currently of French and Italian philology (with 4 other unfinished BAs up my sleeve to entertain y'all :D ).
Passionate: especially about music, singing, human rights, languages, philosophical conversations.
An everchanging work of art, never finished and maybe a little mad. Learning to travel is a part of my mission to free myself to do the "impossible".

Life is here to be lived, the uncertain nature of being human - to be enjoyed, the accidentally magical conversations under the stars - to be cherished without attachment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to prove to myself that freedom of exploration is possible, and that kind, fun and genuine people do exist, and all over! Looking for travelling and new friends of different cultural backgrounds.

Vado in Italia (Milano e Verona) per alcuni giorni a fine genaio 2023. Ci vediamo? (:

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English and Latvian + language learning tips that have helped me; or a still-learning conversation partner for French (A2-B1)

Learn: I'd love to meet a native conversation partner in Italian (I'm ~A2). I'm also very interested in all things culture, food, everyday life, history of places and people, interesting stories.

Share: insights on the world and psychology; knowledge and understanding of mbti and/or astrology, amateur tarot readings; music; overall conversations about the matters of the world and beyond - and a spark of inspiration for your own life, if chance wills it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A truly fulfilling conversation - I'm someone who has a variety of random interesting tips and facts stored up in my brain-attic. I am also quite capable of turning anything into a fun little story. I enjoy diving deep into conversation, and sharing the feeling of being human, of being authentically who you are. I love inspiring others to pursue their truth, and to feel more free in this gigantic universe, more in tune with their values. As am trying I. Love taking a moment of tranquility to just BE.

On a more practical level - I am a decent and imaginative cook; if you have a milk steamer, I'm not half bad as a barista either.
The rest depends on what you're into. Can read you tarot or interpret your birth chart with you. Can teach you a few tricks to calm a busy mind, or to open up creativity, to fall asleep faster, or calm an anxiety attack. Can lead a small meditation of bodily awareness, or a writing masterclass. Can help you brainstorm potential solutions to your problems (even without you actually explaining the real details of them). Can write a poem to/about you in English or Latvian.
