I am proud of my country.

I am from Taiwan, a beautiful island known for the enthusiasm of its people. I major as art and art management and have several years of work experience in art curating and implementation. I am also a travel-lover who has been to more than sixteen countries. I love to involve myself in a variety of social issues, such as homeless people, environmental issue, animal welfare. Art, charity and travel have had a great impact on me.

I am an active, cheerful and positive person. I am concern about underprivileged groups and treat each person and animal friendly and equally. My friends always say that I am warm-hearted. (Yes. I am ^^) Dislike waste of food and environment pollution, so I bring my shopping bag, water bottle and tablewares with me all the time. Hope we can leave a healthy environment to our next generation and creatures in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Simply because I love listening to people's stories. Also it is always a good way to meet people and know culture from different country. And most of coachsufers and hostes I met are enthusiastic and generous, that makes me feel staying with them just like staying with my friends or family. Thanks for you all always inspire me and bring me new perspectives toward life.

animation "Well. E" is one of my favorite movies and Forrest Gump as well. And I like all kinds of music, it depends on my mood at the moment. As to movies, I prefer films based on the true story, like "Lion: a long way from home" and "Bohemian Rhapsody".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

International volunteering has been on my bucket list since I knew it. Now I am doing it in Blackburn of the UK currently. It will be one of the amazing things I’ve done in my life.

The other thing is I am having my hair long for cancer charity to make wig for cancer patients, and I'm so happy having opportunity to donate my hair.

Teach, Learn, Share

I live a eco-friendly lifestyle and am interested in any tips related to living environmentally friendly. For example, I learnt the skill of making compost by used coffee grounds, which is really useful for my garden. I am into different kinds of environmental issue activities, such as beach clean, rubbish picking and recycled markets.

Being volunteer is the best way for me to learn. I understand the meaning of "More blessed to give than to receive" since I started volunteering.

I like to collect stories from peopel I met, then share my story with them as well. When moment we meet each other means that a story between us is creating.
