About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Whether by foot or through imagination, we live a life of travel. Keep an open mind, have an open heart. Cheers! :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a very adventurous person whether it is with food, the arts, literature, poetry, music, dance, random streets, interesting people, history and just anything under the sun! I have a natural thirst for life and that is why I always have this wanderlust and spontaneous energy inside me. :)

I love meeting new people to exchange stories with them and just learn about each other's culture. This is because despite of our differences, I think that we are all one man/woman. So, I want to pay the goodness forward by helping build bridges across cultures.

I'm very open-minded and I never judge anyone based on their own beliefs. I respect their beliefs and I am even open to hearing about it to expand my mind further.

I am an extrovert by nature and I smile a lot because I think that's the best gift we can give to anyone. I'm fairly good with directions but I don't mind getting lost. I welcome any experience with open arms and I just take in what life gives me. :)

PHILOSOPHY

We are now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Let's get lost (and find our way back) together! :D

If you're in Manila or whatever state/country I am in, I'd love to take you out and just explore together. :)

I enjoy visiting historical sites (like museums, cultural and historical landmarks, art galleries), bars and clubs (I'm on a natural high when I dance because I'm a frustrated ballet dancer hahaha), cooking Filipino food and any other cuisine (I never follow recipes, I usually just experiment).

When you're in no mood to go out though, we can just stay in, talk, laugh and simply hangout and be surrounded by good company. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just recently joined CS because I heard about it from friends who are fellow travelers. I hope to try CS on my upcoming trip to India on the 29th of September and when I get back, also host people from various countries to give them a good time and just help them out with whatever they need. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was recently in Cooch behar, India (April-May 2012) to teach English to children in the rural parts of India. I was filled with so much love, kindness and generosity from the kids, their families, the teachers and other random people that it filled my heart with so much light and love. My life changed after that experience, as short as it was, and it molded me to an even better person. I just want to pay the goodness forward and help in any way I can, without anything in return, in the same way that these people showed me the pure goodness present still in humanity. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn basic phrases and words in any foreign language while at the same time, teaching Filipino/Tagalog to others as well. I'd love to cook for you and get to know the famous writers and artists of your culture. :) We can also exchange great music. ;)
