ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from a small Wisconsin school with a degree in psychology and anthropology of religion: cultural practices in Asia. Currently I am living in Taipei and working as a teacher.

I have a very dry sense of humor, and I love to eat all sorts of foods to the point of falling into a coma-like state.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in Budapest and Vienna when I was in Europe. I've also road-tripped and surfed around the States. And now I am finally living in a place that people want to visit, so I'm starting to host!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the times I have felt most awestruck was an evening I spent in Kenting, a beautiful clearwater beach in Southern Taiwan. That night we all sat on the beach drinking Taiwan beer and reminiscing about our summer together. As we laughed on the shore, we spotted a lightning storm appear across the pacific ocean, and we fell silent for awhile watching the bolts flash purple across the sky until we eventually feel asleep under the stars.

I really love talking to people about their personal philosophies and cultural understandings of the world. I also love sharing music and dessert recipes with everyone!

I'd love to learn to cook different cuisines and try more outdoor activities like camping and climbing.
