About Me
Hello!
I am a student, and with that comes a curiosity for new places, people, and cultures. I'm studying the Russian language as well as sociology, or the social interactions of people and society. I love to analyze how people work and in what ways they contribute to form societies and communities. Because of my deep interest in the way people work and social interactions, I am very open minded and love the idea of broadening my perspective of the world with new cultures and ideas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've traveled around the United States, but I've never been abroad and I'm excited to have a support system through CS that will allow me to do that. I love traveling and meeting new people, so I'm very excited to participate in the CS community and give back as much as I can!
Right now, I'm not able to return the favor by hosting people as I live in a dormitory with no space for other people to stay with me, but I hope one day in the near future to be able to give back to the CS community just as much as I benefit from it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love almost every kind of music and am always open to suggestions for new artists to listen to.
My favorite movies are Breakfast Club, Fight Club, and The Notebook. My favorite TV show is the American crime drama: Criminal Minds.
I, like many avid readers, would not be able to pick a favorite book. I love too many books for different reasons and I don't think I could pick one that is superior to other books I've read. Some of my favorite authors are: VC Andrews, LJ Smith, and Khaled Hossieni.
Teach, Learn, Share
Really, I can share any of my interests. I can give you some insight on my perspectives of living in and growing up in rural America. I could also teach you some Russian, or anything else that I might have some knowledge of like art history or share my interests in sociology and political science. This part of Couchsurfing always gets me really excited because I love to be able to help others and contribute what I can to them while my own perspective can be changed by what they offer me!
