Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This community is here to build solidarity between people in the world through face-to-face encounters and for broadening the often narrow horizons through self-found facts, friendships, and experiences. I am here to tell people about my country, my people, and to discuss everything international; to personally learn about myself and the people around me and through that to have a positive effect on my surroundings and the people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About 8 years ago there was a couple from Slovenia that stayed with me. At the time I didn't even know about this club but my friend told me that she had these two people coming and she didn't have a room to give to them really but wondered if I could host them, and of course I was super excited. I think they had a good time seeing some of the main attractions in Estonia and hearing the history. Later on we were on a trip through Europe and we ended up visiting our new found friends in Slovenia. I really appreciated them showing us around. I also appreciate this organization for that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have dropped out of an airplane; I have traveled around the world on a ship; had a chance to enjoy Yosemite valley in California; and river raft on Pacuare river in Costa Rica.
