ABOUT ME

I am Lithuanian who lived in Scotland, Norway and now I am moving to Turkey for a couple of months. I am married to a Turkish man and the purpose of my trip ti Turkey is tu get to know the culture and learn some basic Turkish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2013 - now
Goal to meet people and explore different cultures.

2011-2013
Focused on my career and family, so did not take that much part in CS while living in Stavanger

2009-2011
While living in Aberdeen, I was a moderator of Aberdeen CS group and organised some dinners, movie nights and meetings. I also took part in Summer Camp organisation which took place in Balmedie beach in 2010.
I have also hosted quite a few people, and surfed some couches myself while traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS brought only good experiences to me. I met so many ppl all over the world, made so many friends and have learnt a lot.
I started eating spicier food :) I understand more cultures and appreciate them.

Easy virtue --> the best comedy i have ever seen
slumdog millionaire --> the most recent and I enjoyed it

Twilight series (it is addictive: vampires and love story :))
Some easy reading: B.Jones diary and similar stuff
Started Sinuhe egiptian, but never finished (I guess its time to start reading it again)

Learn:
I would like to remember German, Russian, languages as I haven't spoken them for a long time and not to forget Norwegian after learning it while living in Stavanger.

Teach:
I could teach you Lithuanian :D I have Lithuanian tutorials on youtube.com. Type into the search engine Lithuanian tutorial or kristytamo.

And share my poor cooking knowledge:)

I would like to experience a lot of new things :D
