I am a New York State mathematics teacher. I enjoy reading, running, and hiking. I like to go to breweries and wineries and I love seeing live music. I just moved to the Bronx and I love it so far!

I am interested in traveling to Chicago with my friend Cansu from Turkey. We thought it would be a fun experience to try couch surfing. If I have a positive experience, I may want to open my doors to travelers too!

My favorite band is Wilco, but currently I am super in love with Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls. I love The Jayhawks, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Artic Monkeys, Motown, Tift Merritt, Carol King, and lots more!
My favorite movies are Jurassic Park, Moulin Rouge, Pride and Prejudice, Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn), and Wayne's World.
I love Johnathan Safron Foer, Jane Austen, and Murakmai books!
