I'm a 20 year old guy from Denmark, currently travelling through North, Central and South America. This is my first time using CS as it is the first time I have taken a major trip on my own.

I'm taking a couple of gap years in between high school and college. I took biochemistry and math in high school as I like science.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It seems like a great way to meet people in new places and learn about different cultures and the cities you're visiting.

Interests

I like all kinds of sports, especially tennis, basketball, soccer, beach volley and badminton. I also enjoy board games, going out, hiking, swimming and seeing what a city has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most kinds of music. In particular hip hop, but also jazz and blues like Ella Fitzgerald or Sam Cooke.

I also enjoy reading, a couple of good ones that I recently read are "Call of the Wild" and "Mountains beyond mountains"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered at Alameda County Community Food Bank in Oakland for a week and it was a great experience. If you're ever in the Bay Area, you should check it out.

Most people don't know much about Denmark as it is a tiny country, so if you're interested I can tell you a bit about the place.

I'd love to learn Spanish while I'm on this trip, and also just more about Latin America in general as it is an area I don't know much about
