2012-2013 started my international experience with my Rotary exchange year Finland. I lived and studied in Finland for the year and got to travel through some of Europe throughout my time living there.

Because of this experience I have a hard time "touristing" and prefer to travel will locals.

Since then I've traveled to Argentina to visit friends and am finally returning to Europe for the first time since high school.

I'm half way done with my bachelor's degree in science (biology), and planning on going on to medical school after taking a gap year working in the peace corps.

I love all aspects of traveling, and I especially enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and camping.

Iceland will be my first time traveling alone/without people destinations!
