About Me

Hello,

I'm Kristen and I come from Baltimore, Maryland. Currently, I'm living in Annapolis, MD with my good friend and my goddaughter, however, we are planning to move to NOLA early this year.

To be known: I am the opposite of a high maintenance person. I am also very cleanly and respectful and make it a point to leave a space the way I found it.

Lettuce exchange lyfe stories:)
I'll buy you dinner or coffee or a smoothie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I have enjoyed staying at hostels and AirBNBs, I think there's a different vibe when you stay somewhere and the exchange is focused towards sharing and connecting with each other instead of purely monetary.

Travelling around the world has changed my entire perspective on life. I seem to use monetary exchange less and less and I feel much healthier and more connected to humanity for it.

I enjoy finding new inspirations and things that ignite me and connect me to the earth and the people in it. This is my main motivation for using Couchsurfing: to meet others, to learn, experience, and live a full life. Eventually, when I find a home, I will provide a sanctuary for other travellers and it will be splendid.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent 11 days at a silent meditation retreat at a buddhist monastery in Thailand. It was one of the most difficult things I've ever done and I still don't know how I lasted until the end.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes
Let's see... I can teach English and guitar. I could lead a guided meditation. I can also cook and there's a 50% chance it will turn out well, so it might best to just let me take us out for a meal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My heart and humor
I cook. It doesn't always turn out well... but it's getting better all the time.
