One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year my husband and I packed up our lives and road tripped across the southern United States. We explored many of our nation's AMAZING National Parks, Zion and Joshua Tree being two of our favorites.
That said, it was all the tiny little details that made our adventure "amazing". True, I will never forget the grand vistas of Sequoia National Park or looking down into the Grand Canyon; but the simple moments of sun dappled shade under a fir tree or a warm wind whispering across the rocky Mojave dessert--those are the moments that quietly CHANGED me as a person. There is so much insight and knowledge to be gained by the simplicity of nature...you just have to stop and listen. :)

"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves." -John Muir
