I am the author of about 7 books in various genres, and a blogger. I teach Zumba and love learning about culture and history as well as imagining the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing, but in the past I traveled with Servas. I typically travel by visiting.

Would love to host more but my husband is an inner-city school teacher who really needs his SPACE to unwind. But I love sharing my beautiful city with visitors!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bicycled through Europe with my family a long time ago. I went on a hunt - the kind where you ride leaping horses in search of an imaginary canine. I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane once, too. In 2015 I hiked Mt. Vesuvius in the snow.

I have written a book on positive psychology, and am interested in what works in politics, sociology, and science.
