About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live life as best as I can!
ABOUT ME
Mmmh, IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m not fond of filling these blanks, but I guess IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ll tryâÃâ¬Ã¦.
Well, my name is Kristen and IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m 23 years young (as youâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve already read). I believe IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m a multicultural citizen on this globalized planet. Growing up in Africa (for the most part) and some other continents, gave me the chance to meet lots of people who in turn had (and obviously still have) their own way of viewing the world. I believe this is where my interest in âÃâ¬Ãâ broadly put âÃâ¬Ãâ humanity originates! ïÃÂÃÅ I find it fascinating to see how individuals understand and operate successfully in distinct cultural settings! This however should be discussed whilst sipping some steaming coffeeâÃâ¬Ã¦Ã¢Ãâ¬Ã¦
When IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m not busy studying or working, I often spend my time cooking, hanging out with friends or shooting pictures with my wonderful camera. IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢m moreover fond of theater and roaming the world.
Now IâÃâ¬Ãâ¢ve told you a bit about me, in return, I would like to hear something about you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I can, will host people, but I'm always up for coffee or a stroll through the city.
Since i just moved to Rotterdam i would love to explore the city with someone...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met some wonderful people through couchsurfing. I believe it's the best way to get to know locals when you arrive in a new country or city.
Like i said before, I hosted a couple of people in Maastricht, but i mostly met with people to proudly show them around (my)the city!

I've done lots of amazing/ wonderful things, but the one that comes to mind momentarily is rowing on a bilharzia invested lake surrounded with hippos while discovering that the (wooden) boat is full of termites!
that was some adventure!

I've been a teacher in Ethiopia! What can i teach you?
