ABOUT ME

Howdy, hi and hello. My name is Kristen, and I'm a recent transplant to the Northeast from sunny Florida. I moved to Philly in June to embark on a two-year teaching stint at a middle school in the northern part of the city.

My time these days is spent lesson planning, working on grad papers, and wishing I had time to read on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in Gainesville, we had a few surfers stay with us. My living situation is Philly is a little different though, so now I'd be happy to offer time in a coffee shop and some good conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A group of four surfers from Israel were staying at my friend's house, and when he came to visit me, he brought them along. I loved the whole experience, and I immediately wanted to try it for myself. We had a few surfers stay with us in Gainesville, and my roommates and I loved the experience.
