Overview
About Me
I'm like an artistic cat. Quiet and very friendly. Once I saw a t-shirt with the perfect sentence to describe me - cute, but kinda weird.
I work as a gallery assistant at a contemporary art centre here in Riga and when I'm not there I try to launch my career in graphic design. I spend my leisure time making art, reading books and petting every cat I can find.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to take a step out of my comfort zone. Explore new places and meet some amazing people. I guess that these words have been used in every CS profile out there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Every time someone asks me about my favourites, suddenly every band name or movie title fades out of my mind. Spotify's discover weekly playlists are my musical goldmines these days. When times are hard I usually turn to Radiohead.
I'm a sucker for everything related to French new wave. I also enjoy documentaries, especially true crime ones. Probably a weird fact to mention on my profile here.
When it comes to books, I can go from hardcore existentialism to Jane Austen. There's a lot of Murakami, Plath and random detective stories in between that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot of embarrassing stories that could make you cry from laughter. I can teach you some funny swear words in Latvian. Like 'dupsis'. It means butt. Such a cute word, right?
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm quite shy, so we'll probably share a couple of weird laughs and awkward silences. But to make up for that I can bake amazing cakes.
