Music, Movies, and Books
I like American writers: Kurt Vonnegut, Joseph Heller, Chuck Palhuniuk. Neale Donald Walsh's CwG series has had a hand in my spiritual journey. Albert Baugh's The Development of The English Language is the only textbook I enjoyed reading cover to cover. I spent a lot of time studying 1800's British literature, but I don't know how to talk about it without sounding like an asshole.
I can listen to reggae all day. I like songs about love. I think the Arctic Monkeys are elegant as fuck. Regina Spektor holds a special place in my heart. Jack Johnson takes me to the beach. I could swing dance to some good jazz, and I'm a decent two-stepper (I'm a Dallas girl, I have to be). I like music that makes you want to groove.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I slept under the stars in the US Virgin Islands
Teach, Learn, Share
Austin has so much to offer. It's beautiful and lively- it's the music capital of the world. We have the highest average book sales per house hold. None of us are native, so we all tolerate each other pretty well. We're health conscious.
