I find that most of my favorite moments have to do with the connections I make with others. It's what drives this experience of opening my door and inviting strangers in. People are amazing and I love hearing their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm married and have an adult son who uses couch surfing when he travels. Figure it's good to give back and expand our universe by inviting people in. Plus, the idea of profiting off of sharing our home kind of yucks me out. It reminds me of garage sales where haggling over a price leaves everyone feeling nickled and dimed. I prefer to exchange thoughts and ideas rather than dollars.
We look at Couchsurfing as an opportunity to make some friends and open our world up. We're looking for like minded travelers interested in sitting down and exchanging some conversation. We're not looking to have someone here who just needs to crash.

Simplicity. Great cold-brew coffee. Walks with my dog. Daily movement. Dark chocolate. Time outside. Getting lost in a great book. Occasionally an escape with a Netflix binge.
