Hello fellow globetrotters,

my name is Kristin, I'm 25 years old and am currently still enjoying my lush student life. I'm that kind of person who is convinced that the world is simply to big and beautiful to spend all your time on your cozy couch at home. That's why I prefer the adventures and the excitement of the unknown. And there is so much to see, experience and learn in and about the world that travelling has become a basic need for me just as food and water is.
Now coming to me (and get prepared for the usual sentences, but I really mean them). I'm a very a open-minded, communicative, open-hearted and easy-going person. I have a very cheerful nature and the gift of keeping my hope and humour even in the worst situations, because the world will always look different by tomorrow and lifetime is way to precious to be unhappy for long!
So if you enjoy nice company, a good laugh and good conversations, you surely can't do too wrong with me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I actually registered to couchsurfing years ago cause I liked the simple idea of it. But back than I was a little bit afraid of the unknown and simply having to trust in people that were strangers to me.
But now, years later, years in which I've travelled many countries and seen many places. Years in which I've lived, worked and studied in foreign countries. And years in which I've met many strangers, in which I've heard many life stories and in which I've become friends with strangers, friends that are still friends years later. After those years I am not afraid any longer.
So I want to travel more countries, I want to live in more countries, I want to meet more strangers, hear more life stories and may make some more friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To be honest, I find that question very hard!
I was thinking about what I personally consider as amazing...going to crazy and adventures places? Traveling the world and see things most people won't ever see? Doing good in the world with an admirable altruism?
And I'm still not complety sure, what doing amazing means.
Of yourse I've traveled a bit, I've seen beautiful places, I've met amazing people and I've been good to other people. But the question still is: what one amazing thing have I done?
So if I have to put in only ONE thing...I would say:
I've lived my life so far in way that when I look back, I would not want change a single thing. I've lived in a way, that made me happy and satisfy. I've lived some of my dreams. I've become a person I want to be. And I'm very much looking forward to the future, because I feel prepared, ready and very excited for all the great and also the not so great things that are still to come.
So the one amazing thing I've done is to live my life in a way that I would not want to change anything!

I love to teach since I'll become a kind of a teacher in the future.
I love to learn since I have a passion for education and since I can find learning opportunities in every day to day activity.
I love to see sharing as a mutual enrichment. I share whatever I can teach either by being a guest or a host and you share whatever I can learn from you either by being a guest or a host.
