About Me
An introvert with an open mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is always an intriguing adventure to meet new people. People with different cultural background tend to have different mindsets. We still see lots of conflicts between countries, races or religions and to me, one of the most important reasons is that we lack understanding of other people’s mindsets. What I’ve found Couchsurfing amazing is, through meeting and observing new people, it gives me the chance to see the world from various perspectives, and reduce bias and stereotypes (I dare not say I don’t have bias at all, but I try to avoid it with all my might) When you do talk with local people, you’ll probably find what you’ve heard or seen on TV or newspapers is not often true, and you might get a totally opposite view about things.
Previous experiences on CS have taught me to be modest, tolerant, and flexible. When you do open your heart and listen, you will find every person has a splendid universe and the world turns extremely beautiful because of its variety.
