I'm currently living the nomad life as I explore the western United States as I slowly make my way back home to Wisconsin for a while. I'm a landscape photographer so this current journey is both business and pleasure. Music is a huge part of my life too so I'm thrilled to be getting so much time on the road to listen to new stuff. I'm a bit of a nature junkie and enjoy hiking, camping and just about anything else you can do outdoors. I have a pug named Cole who is always by my side through these adventures. I love thunderstorms, creativity, books, good food (and drinks), meeting new people and learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is a big beautiful place and I want to get out and explore it. Along the way, I want to get outside my comfort zone, try new things, meet new people, learn new perspectives. I want to challenge myself to grow and become a better version of myself.

Interests

I enjoy just about anything you can do outdoors but my favorites are hiking and camping. I love music of all kinds. I love art and just creativity in general. I enjoy going out and trying amazing food but I also like to cook, especially when I have someone to cook for. I enjoy reading, mainly nonfiction, and adventure memoirs are my favorite. I write a blog about my adventures in nature and also enjoy journaling as well. I'm currently learning how to knit and working on my first scarf as I go from campsite to campsite.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Indie, folk, jazz, rock, country, alternative, classical and so much more. I don't think there is any type of music I don't like.

Movies: Comedy, action, documentary, drama, .....I could go on and on. Pretty much all kinds of movies.

Books: Mainly non-fiction, I love to learn. Adventure memoirs are my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently, after realizing my longtime dream of working in the arts and living on the Oregon Coast, I decided to walk away from it all to pursue starting my own business while traveling. I'm taking a huge leap of faith that this is all going to lead to a more genuine life.

What I Can Share with Hosts
