I enjoy living frugally and close to the earth. I like to think critically of economics, environmental practices, energy use and other things relevant to the modern world, and our use of resources.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing. I have friends who do it a fair deal, and they speak highly of it!

animals, plants, the environment, cooking, green cleaning, swimming, music, sunshine, clouds, organic foods, vegetarianism, harmonies, bumper cars, thunderstorms, rain & rainbows, meeting new people, being myself and not having to change for anyone, contra dancing, hiking + camping (+ skinnydipping!!) = backpacking, swimming, mountain biking, cooking, gardening, taking walks in pouring rain, splashing in puddles, kissing (or doing pretty much anything really) in a warm summer rain, playing board/word/card games, listening to live music whenever I can, singing, learning to clog, trail running with my greyhound Ariel, supporting local businesses, being optimistic, drinking water, completing peoples sentences by singing '90's pop songs

Office Space, Little Miss Sunshine and other funny ones
Over the Hedge, Monsters Inc. and other cute ones
Crash, The Lake House and other romantic and/or spine chilling ones
Rent, and other ones with good music

Favorite Music:
Music is pretty much the bestest thing EVER!!!
Folk, Acoustic, Old-time, Bluegrass, most things involving stringed instruments (violin/fiddle, guitar, banjo, piano, but good cello trumps everything)
I genuinely enjoy most all live music.

Favorite Books:
I like to read nonfiction- The Omnivore's Dilemma, Into The Wild, Mountains of the Heart, Cradle to Cradle, etc.
