I love traveling, discovering new places and meeting new people. It is a whole new experience when you can stay with locals who can show you the true spirit of a place.
Also, it is nice to have more money to spend on enjoyment and exploration of a foreign city, rather than on expensive hotel or accomodation.

As a host or a local it is nice to meet new interesting people, learn about their culture, have few drinks and make them feel as a part of the city :D
