About Me
"The secret of happiness, you see, is not found in seeking more, but in developing the capacity to enjoy less."
Hello everybody! I'm Tina. Nature conservation, early childhood education and development cooperation are the fields I am passionate about. In 2020, I founded a non-profit conservation association called tinyteenyhands. I wrote a children's book about marine pollution and organized a recycling project in Tshani Village, South Africa. Thanks to my time in South Africa, I was able to gain many experiences with a wide variety of people. Humor, passion and spontaneity play an important role in my life. Most of all I like to be in nature. Whether hiking, horseback riding or yoga - I'm in! I worked in a kindergarten for one year and also in a backpacker for a while. Currently I'm trying to get into photography and would love to learn freediving! Apart from that I study childhood education and love good wine!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest, at first I thought "Hey free accommodation, that's amazing" but now I'm starting to love and appreciate the system behind couchsurfing. To get to know new interesting people all over the world is so great. I met my best friends through couchsurfing and I’m still in contact with most of these heartwarming people I met here!
