Patience isn't my middle name, but it could be.

Many moons ago I caught an incurable exploratory travel bug (oddly enough on Disney's Big Red Boat cruise to the Bahamas) and spent the better part of my adolescence and 20s keeping it satiated. It was a tough job, but I was good at it and gladly obliged.

Alas, "real life" finally got ahold of me and I started laying roots (San Francisco and Los Angeles), working in a field I enjoy and squeezing in just enough exploration for my wanderlusting soul not to get too anxious. Then in rolls 2015 and despite all my best efforts the mighty bug made a grand reappearance.

Finally.

Moved out of my beloved apartment in April and haven't looked back. Oh, the joy of the unknown.

I'm a couch surfer who just recently learned about this vibrant community of like-spirited individuals. When I have a place, I tend to host a lot of guests and always enjoy being part of people's discovery and experience. There is no better way to understand a certain land than to see it through the eyes of its people.
