Overview
About Me
Outgoing, friendly, curious wanderer. I studied Accounting at University but am currently working as a waitress so I have a schedule flexible enough to allow me to travel. I yearn to meet as many diverse people as possible. My day dreams include packing up my essential belongings and backpacking as long as my funds will allow. My free time consists of researching new things to add to my bucket list. My goal is to continue to learn to live a life of simplicity.
I am easy going with an adventurous spirit, always willing to try and see new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have read many stories of people who experienced genuine-hospitality with other human beings, it seems to make the traveling experience that much more pure. To me, it is not about tallying the number of places I have been or the miles I have traveled, it is remembering the interactions and connecting I have made just by smiling to a stranger.
Interests
In my job, talking to strangers is part of the job...but I go above and beyond the usual small talk because I genuinely enjoy learning about other people.
Working inside a hotel I am so fortunate to meet people from all over and my eyes sparkle when I am able to discuss where they are from. As much or as little as they want to share, I want to enjoy. Music and dancing-whether it be in the car, living room or pub, puts a huge smile on my face.
I love to cook and eat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After working 68 days consecutive between two jobs, I spontaneously packed my suitcase for a long weekend and went to the airport without a destination set... (I later booked a flight to Miami). I have been on an airplane more times alone than with a companion and am constantly dreaming of my next spontaneous getaway.
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my favorite things in a new demographic is to learn the dialect different than mine. i.e. reckon, tube, lift, take-away; as well as key words and phrases in foreign languages.
When I share my experiences in other cities I am glad to touch upon more than the tourist-popular spots that one would read about in an article. Tour guides amaze me, and I hang on to their every word. I believe social media is a powerful tool. It can either be harmful or beneficial, depending how we use it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my positive energy, providing company and conversation. I will ask questions and share my own stories. Good hospitality is in my blood, so I know how to behave as a guest. I find genuine enjoyment doing chores around the house and would love to wash dishes, help clean, etc. I also enjoy preparing meals.
