Hi everyone! Im planning my last minute vacation with my boyfriend in Portugal, we plan to arrive on 22th July to Faro and we leave on 4th August from Porto. Meanwhile we would like to spend some time in Algarve, go through Lisbon and in the end spend few days in Porto. We would be really grateful for meeting local people and get some tips to see the best places on the road and if we could spend a night somewhere it would be great too. We had to plan the vacation in the main season because of our jobs and there are less options for accommodation and of course they are more expensive and we dont really know what to choose. ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old and I work as a psychiatrist in a beautiful city Brno /Czech republic/. I moved here two years ago from Slovakia after finishing my study at university. I find myself open-minded, communicative, reliable and friendly. I have a boyfriend /32y/ who worked in the same hospital few years ago and now he works in an army. We plan to spend 14 days together in Portugal from 22th July to 4th August, so we have an opportunity to try couchsurfing. I tried it once while traveling through Italy in 2014 and it was the best experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only one experience with couchsurfing thanks to my friend, with whom I travelled to Italy, we stayed in Bologna and it was great, the guy had an unoffical bar during the night at his flat, so we met lots of local people and had a few drinks with them. All of them were really friendly. I would like to try this style of travelling again.

Interests

I love music, although I'm not musician. I always dreamed to learn playing piano, I hope it's never too late to begin. I listen to a lot of genres, classical rock, psychedelic rock, grunge, indie and alternative music and now I enjoy listening to postrock, ambient, jazz sometimes, electronic music. Swimming, bedminton, sometimes running and cycling belong to my other hobbies. I like reading books, my favourite writers are Heller, Camus, Vonnegut, slovak poetry and more. And of course I love everything that is related to my job - I work as a psychiatrist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Smoking salvia. Going from Porto to Slovakia by the car, sleeping in it and being everyday at different place. Assisting in surgery. Crazy afterparty at the neurological congress. Riding a camel. Got lost on purpose and find my way out of different situations. Touched the spider. Helping patients.
