I'm Kristina, originally from Berlin who likes to travel, expand her horizon, share good memories & broaden the variety of experience as a human being in this world.

Currently I’m pursuing an international Master in Journalism and mostly between Berlin, Hamburg and Aarhus.

I spend the last year in Aarhus, Denmark and loved it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do have a couch but right now it is rented out long-term as I’m mostly in Hamburg & Aarhus.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not been on CS for quite some time. Actually I’m not sure why!

I had some fantastic experience in Moscow and Istanbul but then when traveling with my ex we didn’t use CS at all.

In Moscow I was taken to some nice cafes and bars and CS meetings by a cheerful redhead with the brightest wellingtons in town.
I was greeted very warmly in Istanbul and overwhelmed by the hospitality! I had the best hosts one could wish for!

I cant pick a few, it’s partly why I chose journalism as a career. It might not be a good reason to become one, in hindsight!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

jumping down 10 waterfalls in one day in Australia and finally made friends with spiders

drinking culture in North West England - very impressive, albeit sometimes questionable

'survived' an earthquake (in Manchester!)
jumped out of a perfectly good airplane - not one but several times
