Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never had the opportunity to "couchsurf". Unless of course you want to count a couple of hitchhiking experiences in the 70's. Basically the same concept was involved but without the reservation part (or memories of the experience for that matter). I believe Air Force brats can pretty much lay their heads down anywhere as long as we're safe, warm and sometimes fed.

Interests

Biking outdoors - I love long rides - I have done one century (want to do more) and many 30-50 milers. I love reading (anything), planning and teaching my fitness classes (4 a week), I adore watching my kids and my clients change every day. My husband and I recently signed onto a body building challenge - it's hard and oh so challenging but so cool! I love summertime.....by my pool, at the ocean a few miles away or just the quiet summer evenings on the porch. I love to socialize yet love being alone. I am a symphonic percussionist and I studied music for many years so....I LOVE music, all music (if it's good ;) I also like Scrabble, Twizzler's, chocolate & good tequila (not necessarily in that order).

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh my God.....I don't think there is enough room here for all my likes! Suffice it to say that there is more out there in life that I have seen, listened to, read and enjoyed than that which I have not enjoyed (but I don't dwell on that). I am always open to suggestions and am always looking for fresh ideas/ways to stimulate my senses;)
