Overview
About Me
My quietness is a mix of shyness, Canadian politeness, being a good listener, and my natural inclination to observe and take everything in. I don't know which imprints on people first - my quietness or the huge smile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Whether it's a casa particular in Cuba, the floors of various relatives' homes in the Philippines, the grimy staff housing in Whistler, or moving from Toronto to Ottawa for university, staying with locals (or becoming a local myself) has been my preferred method of travelling. The pace is just more human, you know?
And on the hosting side, it's a bummer that I can't share my couch but I do love a lot of off-the-tourist-path things about my current city Ottawa that I'd be happy to share with travellers passing through - especially those interested in art, bouldering, gin, and food.
-----
It sucks that I have to write this but I am not on Couchsurfing looking to hook up. So if you're offering to share a bed with me - no I'm not interested, thank you.
Interests
Three-way tie between bouldering, photography, and visual arts for my favourite things in the world. I spend a lot of time thinking about what makes cities human.

Teach, Learn, Share
I spent a couple years as a teaching assistant for an intro to multi-media class, so I can share a thing or two about photography. But my one of the things I enjoy the very most is introducing people to bouldering. So if you know of a climbing spot or gym in your area and have always been curious to try- I'm your girl :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Dinners made of simple delicious recipes and the wide-eyed wonder of a first time solo traveller.
And if you're down, I'd love to make your portrait :)
