I think I will not surprise anyone by saying that I'm here because I like to travel. But I'll try to tell you what caused my love.
Most likely the original reason is my hometown. Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg), which is the most north-western region of Russia and is surrounded by Lithuania and Poland. So, to get to the capital of Russia, Moscow, you need to cross the border with Lithuania and Belarus, to overcome 1200 km.
As a child, my parents and I often went by car to grandparents in Russia. Over the course of the road, which took almost 24h, I almost didn't sleep, preferring to stare out the window and think about how our world is different.
Living in Kaliningrad it's much easier to get to many European cities than to Russia. Therefore, in my cjildhood I visited several countries, such as Poland, Latvia, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Belarus.
Later in high school my family and I went by car in Europe. Visiting countries such as Hungary and Slovenia, we reached the final destination of our trip - Croatia. The nature of this country - mountains and sea - is forever in my heart. Therefore, after 5 years, I returned here, but not as a tourist, but as a student in the exchange program.
However, during this time I managed to live in Oslo, Norway for six months. The differentness of our cultures and customs influenced me very much and changed for the better. It was warmer than I expected! Nevertheless, after six months in the north, I just needed to change the dislocation. The choice fell on Spain. Hot local residents against cold-blooded Nordic people were very pleased with my eyes.
One of my favorite trips is a spontaneous trip with my friend to Nice to celebrate my Birthday. In February this city hosts a grand carnival, I advise you to visit it at least once!
Today I am an exchange student in Zagreb. I will be glad to meet YOU !
