Overview
About Me
I have a degree in philosophy and am currently a law student. Happily married in Nashville. I identify as a feminist Christian mystic. My goal is to always be improving and never stop exploring. When I'm not in classes, I'm either on the move or learning something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, hosting, making new friends, learning about different people and places, and hearing and telling stories. And I'm doing it all on a budget.
Interests
Currently I'm in law school, which translates to a whole lot of studying law and not much else, but yoga and swing dancing are the two activities I actually get to every once in a while when I'm feeling motivated :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm on a classical kick right now, particularly Russian composers. However, being a professional bassist and singer was my first paying job, so whatever genre is your favorite, I probably have opinions on artists in those genres. Also, if you are into the band Gungor, I'm positive we'd get along and have great conversations. I love action movies in particular. I'm reading casebooks constantly, but I'm currently making my way through "Astrophysics for Busy People" by Neil deGrasse Tyson in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My go-to answer for this question is when I climbed behind a waterfall in the foothills of Kilimanjaro on a whim with some friends. But if you ask me in person, I might say something different. ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach basic yoga, swing dancing and a lot of trivia about a little bit of everything. I like to learn everything. If you have something you're passionate about, I'd love to talk to you about it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, music, book recommendations, a night out, and deep conversations.
