About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to taste ALL the fermented foods worldwide!
ABOUT ME
I left the US when the economy crashed and started teaching English in Korea 2 years ago. It's been an amazing opportunity and only re-confirmed how much I love being in new places. I just returned to the Seattle area after a 6-month trip through SE Asia. Now I'm readjusting to the real world and trying to figure out what the next step will be.
I like to: sail, run, SCUBA, travel (duh), take pictures, eat everything in sight, homebrew, grow my own food, cook as much as I can from scratch and be as close to large bodies of water as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
don't worry about today, it's already tomorrow in Australia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a few couchsurfers at my apartment in Korea and it was a great experience. I was honestly surprised at how many people from all over the world made it to little Daegu, South Korea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Now that I finally have a fully stocked kitchen, I'm mostly reading cooking books. Also, I've read some great travel memoirs - especially Paul Theroux's adventures riding the railways in the 70's.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love hearing people's stories and talking about what makes the world such an amazing place. I dislike talking about clothes, relationships and movies.
