About Me
Hey Surfers!
I moved to South Lake Tahoe from Reno, most recently, and I now am back living in a place that I love. I mountain bike, hike, snowboard and hop in lakes around here, and then grab some beers after all that. I used to work a professional job, doing professional things, but now I am a server just having a good time figuring life out. And figuring life out. And still figuring life out. But saying "yes" as much as possible in order to do so. I kinda freak out in nature, and say a lot of curse words in the most appreciative way possible. Nature is cool.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel . . . don't we all? After having traveled using hotels and airbnbs as well as traveling staying with friends, the choice is obvious. It's such a better experience when you can stay with friends . . .be they friends you've known, or friends you meet at their door. The personal touch is unbeatable. I've now hosted a few couchsurfers, and they've been the best experiences; I've made new friends and have learned about foreign places while not even leaving my town. I love the idea of community that is actually now coming through the internet and social media, and the idea that the impersonal world of the internet can also bring people together in very cool ways.
Interests
Anything outside! Especially mountain biking, snowboarding, backpacking, hopping in lakes, and jumping from high places. Plus drinking fun drinks in cool spots, talking too late into the night, eating, yoga, being silly, reading, reading, reading, learning science, dancing badly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept outside for two months straight, most of the nights being actually out under the stars. That experience was life changing . . .I just want more and more nights outside.
