About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn more about how little I know

ABOUT ME

I am extremely curious and open-minded about others' cultures and lifestyles, whether or not they conflict with my own. I come from a mixed cultural background and love to learn new ways to look at the world. Every new experience inspires me creatively, and I am very respectful of others' space, time, and hospitality.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is fleeting. We gain immortality by leaving a legacy. Success is leaving your home, neighborhood, and community in a better off place than it was when you arrived. If you can change the world behind your eyes, then it will change before them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Life is about exchange and mutual benefit. I try to impart some benefit to everyone I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing virgin....can't wait to fill in this box!

Interests

I love to write and can often be found jotting down random notes and quotes in a small book I keep with me at all times. I also like to stay active and enjoy hiking, jogging, and long scenic walks. Nature and animals energize me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Minority Report, The Matrix, The Italian Job, Bicentennial Man, Hitch....and I LOVE a good documentary: The House I Live In, Pink Ribbons Inc., Hungry for Change, Tapped...so many! Freakonomics is my favorite book of all time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone skydiving, camped in the Grand Canyon, and lived for a month in New York City off just $200. Thus far, I count those as my most thrilling accomplishments.

Teach, Learn, Share

I tend to underestimate my skills, but I'm pretty skilled at cooking, writing, art and photography. My greatest contribution, I think, is my willingness to share my personal experiences and ideas, and to inspire others to do the same without fear of judgement.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, help with household chores, baby or pet-sitting, organizing and decluttering.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Costa Rica, Italy, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
