About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To build a self sustaining home, have a family, teach my family and children about other cultures and ways of life
ABOUT ME
My roommate in college convinced me to travel with her to Europe, and ever since then, I have been addicted to travel. When we went to Europe, we stayed in monastaries and in small towns, so I got the feel for travel "off the beaten path". I prefer to do it that way, but I still like to go to the tourist hot spots too. I suppose I lead a relatively "normal" life. I work in my family business(but I'm really only busy for 3 months out of the year, so I try to travel as much as possible in my off time). I'm married to a wonderful man who has never experienced much outside of the small box that we live in. I'm trying to change that, but it's like pulling teeth. Just one great trip, and he will be sold though. My current goal is to build a self sustaining home. I'm very concerned about the environment and I'm trying to be more conscious of how the things I do affect the world around me. I've been working on this home for a while, and not only does it have zero utility bills, but it also has an interior garden to filter the air and plant food. Can you tell i'm passionate about it!?! After we build the home, its probably time for children. I hope to spend as much of my time traveling as possible-just have to convince the husband that it is important! I think the most important thing I can try to give to my children in a broad perspective and open mind. That is my goal!
PHILOSOPHY
Have an open mind, learn as much as possible, and tread lightly along your way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quit my job to move to Italy and manage a bed & breakfast-and I didn't speak any Italian. It was a whirlwind of craziness, but it was the best decision I have ever made. It changed me forever.
