ABOUT ME

I'm a Christian girl from a tiny town in rural Vermont (USA). I recently graduated from college with a degree in French, and licensure to teach high school French and English. Right now I am an English assistant in Lyon, France. It's a truly amazing experience, but I really miss my family and friends back in America. My boyfriend is going to come visit me here in France and hopefully propose to me on the Eiffel Tower! How romantic! And then I will return home and try to find a job as a French teacher. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I prefer to enjoy life by having random adventures with the wide-eyed wonder of a child.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am pretty new to Couch Surfing. Right now I'm unable to host because I'm living in the high school where I work and have just a tiny bed for myself. For the moment I'd like to use couch surfing to travel in France. In the future, I would be happy to welcome people into my home, but I have no idea where that will be. We'll see...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was pretty ritzy- My friend and I stayed in proper beds in a cozy chalet in Chamonix with an incredible view! Our host was such a nice guy, and even helped us to find another couch to surf on after our departure. This second location was less glamorous, but just as warm and welcoming. Couch surfing is a great experience that opens your eyes to the real hospitality and goodness of people in our world. :)

Singing and dancing (but only to specific music that I like, and if I'm in the mood), Looking out windows, All things Disney, Watching movies and musicals, Taking pictures, Traveling and learning how to not overpack :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first time skiing was in the French Alps- and I had the bruises to prove it! Ouch. :)

I think my family and my friends are pretty amazing. I miss them.
