I consider myself a citizen of the world. Circumstances have made traveling part of my life. I have lived in 4 countries, I speak at the native level 3 languages and I have 2 citizenships. I have friends from all over the world and I want to continue making new ones. Traveling is for me not just a short term adventure, but a lifestyle, a way of living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My lifetime goal is to visit as many places possible. A quite difficult objective considering how big the world is. And what better way to do it, other than couchsurfing! Not only you get the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, but you also grow a huge network of friends who would gladly host you and show you around their homeplace! I know it sounds a bit too good to be true, but from the people I have met, I am confident that there is a lot of kindness going around in the world, especially through this site!

Interests

Traveling for sure but also sports (football, cycling, running, basketball), arts (painting, writing, playing guitar, singing), meeting people, walking around, partying, dancing. I also enjoy helping others, which I do mainly through volunteering.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Very difficult to choose. I like a lot of things so I will go just by genres. Here they are: Rock. Metal, House, Electronic, Classical, Blues.

Movies: Again many choices to pick from. In general I like movies with unexpected endings, movies that make you think, movies that present a new perspective on an issue.

Books: Well, as you might expect also books are plenty to decide. In general I enjoy the classics that everyone knows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have become an active volunteer. Volunteering has helped me free my mind and understand why helping other also makes you happy. I now consider myself a freelance volunteer (I am also a member of a few volunteering groups).

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach the languages I speak and anything related to my interests. I have actually tutored people so don't hesitate, I really enjoy teaching!

Learn: My character is such that I am always curious about new things. I always want to learn something new and I never say no to new information. I really enjoy learning new languages (now I am trying to improve my German and Italian), but really anything I am open for learning anything I don't know.

Share: The best thing someone can share are his/her experiences. We all live differently and our experiences shape our personality. By sharing, not only we start to understand each other better, but we also improve our character and open our mind.
