I used to be a very active CS-member from 2011 to 2022, with over 170 references, hosting more than 300 guests back when I lived in Stavanger. I spent more than a decade hosting, surfing, and meeting people through CS. Then, about five years ago, I decided to pull the plug and delete my account—probably during one of those "let’s simplify life" phases. Now I’ve returned from the digital void with a fresh profile… just to see what I’ve been missing out on. ;P

I’m a calm, sociable, and respectful guy who loves sharing travel stories—some true, some too weird not to be. I’ve traveled a lot and enjoy meeting all kinds of people regardless of age, background, gender; or any of that stuff.

During Covid, I bought an old VW T3 camper from ’87 and converted it myself. Now I use it for camping trips, slow mornings with coffee, and spontaneous getaways. I’m into reading, writing, music, and pretty much experiencing whatever life throws my way.

In November, I’m heading to Jeju Island in South Korea to hike the entire Jeju Olle Trail—437 km, solo. Maybe I’ll cross paths with some fellow Couchsurfers along the way?
