About Me
A little bit more about myself... 6'1 31 years old. Christopher Mccandless is an inspiration to me. Very chill. Social drinker. Mostly vegetarian(some salmon/crab). Not religious, not very political, but liberal. LGBT friendly. I'm told by those around me I am compassionate, rational, open minded, curious, respectful. Love animals. Determination tattoo on my right wrist. Ambitious. Outdoor enthusiast. Love spending time with my nieces and nephews all ages. I love broccoli. I volunteer on occasion when I'm not working. I'm always looking to find the best version of myself. Personal development is extremely important to me. So is being able to help a family member or friend in need at moments notice. I try and live a healthier more active lifestyle. Connected with my aunt for the first time 3 years ago. I believe that we are all unique and have a story. :) I will be taking a lot of small trips throughout 2018. I will really appreciate anyone who allows me to sleep, even if it’s on the floor.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend of mine has been traveling the world for over a year. He recommended I check this site out. Here I finally am. I live in Maryland and will be taking small trips all throughout 2018 to various different cities across the US. I look forward to meeting all kinds new people, new experiences, hang out, whatever is chill! Love laughing! Just need a place to crash my head. Floor will do fine.
2 years ago I headed out to India for philanthropy, and to attend a friends wedding. I was there a month. I helped raised over $1600 here back in the U.S which went to various schools/underprivileged kids. It was by far the most gratifying experience of my life. Looking forward to building from this in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I biked the GAP/C&O trail from Pittsburgh to DC 360 miles in 5 days with practically no training. A year later I biked 120 miles in a single day on the trail 5am-8pm with about an hour worth of breaks. EXHAUSTING, but worth it.
