Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal is to travel long term, which requires a budget. Thank goodness for Couchsurfing! I hope to meet some great, fun hosts, who can help me achieve my goal.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Radiohead, The XX, Norah Jones, U2, Adele, Local Natives, Coldplay, too many to name!

Movies: Foreign and Independent films. Anything by Pedro Almodóvar.

Books: Cannot say that I'm a bookworm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the privilege of visiting the Bribri tribe in the mountains of Costa Rica. The Bribri people were some of the kindest and hospitable people I have ever met. They welcomed me into their community with open arms. I attempted archery, learned how to make chocolate from cacao picked straight from a cacao tree, enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal, and came home with handmade jewelry.
