ABOUT ME

I love to travel, it's one of my favorite things. There's nothing better for me than to sit around and drink beer on a sunny afternoon, talking about cultural differences and languages with other travelers. Im a hair braider by trade, I've been doing it since I was a little girl and I absolutely love it. I'm also an artist and am always looking for a project to get involved in, whether it be a mural, doing art with kids, performance art, or a collaboration with other artists. I love music, dancing, singing, and I'm also learning how to juggle. I wish I knew how to DJ and breakdance. One day...
For now Im focusing on learning french, painting and experimenting with new mediums, and exploring the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a beautiful, and sometimes painful journey. But it's up to you to decide if you want to wallow in the pain or marvel at the beauty. I cherish both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When Im in town, I am always up for meeting people and showing them New York City and I have a room in my house that I lend to surfers when I can. When Im traveling I surf and use couchsurfing to connect with locals and make friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost every kind of music there is so it's easier to name what I don't like: heavy metal and compact jazz, but even those I can get with sometimes. Other than that, I listen to everything, but if you ask anyone who knows me at all, they'll tell you that I have a special place in my heart for cumbia.
I like to read when I have time, right now Im reading "The Pillars of the Earth." It's sucking away my social life.
