About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"I want the whole damn world to come dance with me.."

ABOUT ME

My name is Kristyn and I am a consultant of all sorts. I am a certified yoga teacher (200 hours in Powerful Flow Vinyasa), barista, nutrition connoisseur, and lover of natural design. I have lived in Houston, Texas for 6 years and am heading to Denver, Colorado for the next phase of my life.

I play the ukelele, dance via hip hop, swing, jazz, techno, EDM, reggae, etc, paint, sew, yoga, stay active, and smile often.

I am a honey vegan for health and environment purposes. And cooking is a fantastic thrill for me. I have lived in a co-op for a year so I understand the importance of cooking for lots of people.

PHILOSOPHY

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."
Robert Frost

"And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul."
Desiderata

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in CS by being a pioneer for the CS community and to show the world that sites like these need to be accepted more. There would be more impact on what goes on in the communities if more people, world-wide, get involved.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been given the opportunity to host a few people but my next phase in life is to couch surf myself and see the different types of people in the world. I've come to the conclusion that EVERYONE is unique and each perspective on life in different from the next. I promise to respect everyone's space because that is important.

Since I have been traveling, I am constantly reminded of how a home is truly a a sanctuary. I love stepping into the lives of others even just for a few nights and embracing their view of the city. I have been introduced to amazing foods, incredible people, and that realization everyone is so different yet so connected.

I would like to bring couchsurfing to the local level and meet fellow vagabonds who reside in the same city, temporarily to converse on intellectual topics.
